QHSE Commitment

Our approach

Our Group is committed to a pro-active Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policy.

  • This QHSE policy is necessary to guarantee the continuity of our company.
  • It is based on the principles of the Total Group and on Responsible Care, a key element in the drive towards Sustainable Development.
  • These principles cover all our entities regardless of country or activity, and are shared by all employees..
  • They are underpinned by the prerequisites of continuous improvement, the ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, and the ISRS safety rating system.

Our principles

Prevention

  • Systematic and in-depth analysis of:
    - Industrial and major risks
    - Risks to health in the workplace
    - Environmental risks
    - Process-related risks.
  • Definition of a prevention programme at every site.

Responsabilisation

  • Individual responsibility of everyone initially
  • Compliance with preventive measures, and implementation by the management of the organisation that they imply
  • Involvement of the personnel in accident and incident investigations and surveys, and in drawing up action plans

Vigilance

  • HSE rounds, planned general inspections
  • Regulatory watch and internal audits
  • Verification of relevance of systems by independent external bodies.

Continuous improvement

  • On each site, there are action plans based on continuous improvement in performance and results.
