||| NORSODYNE ® – General purpose ortho |||
The new General Purpose ortho range from CRAY VALLEY offers a wide range of reactivities whilst maintaining common characteristics for all the products (viscosity, mechanical properties, etc.). CRAY VALLEY produces this range of products at all its European sites, hence providing security of supply. The new range incorporates a proprietary LSE system allowing a significant reduction in styrene emissions. Every product is Lloyd’s approved.
Technical literature is available that includes guidelines for a variety of process conditions.

||| NORSODYNE ® – Specialty resins |||
CRAY VALLEY has developed M1 and M2 fire-retardant resins for the building, transportation, pipe and tank markets. Halogen-free resins are also available for the mass transportation sector.
Cray Valley recently developed resins and gelcoats complying with the new railway standard (EN 45545: HL 3 level, M1F1). This system is easy and ready to use - without the need to add filler or dilute the mixture, thereby keeping the risk of error to a minimum. The resin contains no halogens or CMR products, ensuring the highest safety standards. This technology also offers better fire resistance than steel at flame temperatures of 2000 °C.

- Low styrene emission resins
For many years, Cray Valley has actively reduced the styrene content of its resin and gelcoat products. Lower styrene content means lower levels in the plant and lower emissions to the environment. The lower styrene content is combined with intelligent product formulation so that performance is not compromised. These resins also use film forming technology to suppress emissions.
For applications requiring excellent interlaminar adhesion and low styrene emission, Cray Valley has developed a specific LSE agent: these products are marketed under the ADHyECO name.
Cray Valley is able to advise processors on the detail of styrene emission regulations and related means for compliance.
