ECS 2009, a "showroom" for Cray Valley Coatings

SHARING COMPETENCIES TO MEET  PERFORMANCE CHALLENGES

During the last European Coatings Show (ECS) from 31 March to 2 April 2009 in Nuremberg, CRAY VALLEY has invited all its visitors to take an in-depth look at its ‘back office’ competencies and teams which are the core of the CRAY VALLEY innovation.
This trade show was the perfect occasion to have CRAY VALLEY’s European experts in Physical Chemistry, Application Support, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Sustainable Development and Partnership Expertise available together. During the three day exhibition, ideas and visions on the future solutions and services CRAY VALLEY could bring to its partners were discussed and we would like to thank all our visitors for the quality of the meetings.

As a result of its “Accelerating Innovation” process, CRAY VALLEY has presented several “low environmental impact” solutions for decorative, industrial wood and metal coatings:

-    New acrylic emulsion CRAYMUL® 2138 with excellent binding power and good film formation even without coalescent
-    Unique Cobalt free alkyd emulsion SYNAQUA® 2090
-    New alkyd emulsion SYNAQUA® 4804 for high gloss paints with alkyd-like applicative behaviour
-    High solid alkyds SYNOLAC® 4060 WDA 90 and GELKYD® 4648 WD 80 for highly-versatile 2010 compliant trim coatings
-    New styrene-free Unsaturated Polyester SYNOLAC® 9970 for high gloss non Xi topcoat
-    New high solid acrylics VOC compliant SYNOCURE® 9293 BA 70 for industrial coatings requiring quick drying and early hardening properties
-    New high solid acrylics VOC compliant SYNOCURE® 9201 S 75 showing easy-to-apply behaviour together with high chemical resistance
-    New NMP-free liquid rheological additive CRAYVALLAC® LA-350
-    New carboxylated polyester for hydroxyalkylamide curing agents REAFREE® 8598 with excellent flow and degassing properties
