First applications in Thermosetting polyester powder coatings technology were developed for TGIC systems. As standard properties were excellent and versatile no reasons for researching on other types of x-linkers  were being done.

As a result of actual European legislation to label TGIC as unhealthy raw material, new substances has been appeared. Most important ones are Glycidyl Esters and mainly Betahydroxyalkylamids whose give name to the new brand outdoors powder coating systems.
