They are used primarily as tackifying resins in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and hotmelt adhesives.

Through their chemical make-up, these resins feature remarkable properties:

• consistent and reproducible physico-chemical characteristics
  
• low colouration
  
• low odour
  
• outstanding tackifying properties
  
• good resistance to temperature and oxidation
  
• very low chlorine content

WINGTACK® resins are also used as tackifying resins in a large number of elastomer blends such as SIS, polyisoprene, butyl, EPDM and SBR, to enhance their properties.
