WINGTACK® hydrocarbon resins are obtained by polymerisation of C5 aliphatic monomers.
They are used primarily as tackifying resins in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and hotmelt adhesives.
Through their chemical make-up, these resins feature remarkable properties:
- consistent and reproducible physico-chemical characteristics
- low colouration
- low odour
- outstanding tackifying properties
- good resistance to temperature and oxidation
- very low chlorine content
WINGTACK® resins are also used as tackifying resins in a large number of elastomer blends such as SIS, polyisoprene, butyl, EPDM and SBR, to enhance their properties.
